Hi Fly Fishers. For those who have enquired, my new book, 'Wet-Fly Tying & Fishing' (it does 'exactly what it says on the tin'!) is published by Crowood Press and is due out on September 15th 2009.

I have just finished reading the new book by R.W Fogg. I have the Art of the Wet Fly and that book has been the biggest influence to my Fly fishing hobby.
I dont like putting names to what kind of an angler people are. Im still a begginer and always will be.
But since 2002 when i packed in fishing because of severe depression ,i have now become more relaxed in my fishing and really enjoy it.
Seems im stuck in my ways and fur and feather and good old Tradition is my ways.
Todays modern anglers should read this new book because their is lots to be learned . Well done Mr Fogg ;) :) .
If i am lucky and have a little win i will be buying the book :( .
Funny though, i never bought the 1979 Art of the Wet Fly that i know own.
It was given to me by the angler who taught me how to fish and tye the Black and Peacock spider ,which many modern anglers have never heard of. :D PB
