The wet flies in Hungary.

As I mentioned already,we have not nice trout brooks, streams in Hungary. Our rivers are too hot for the trout. But there are some good fish like chub or asp in these waters who like the flies.
My favourite fish is asp. They are our "salmon".:)They live a lot of Hungarian rivers and lakes especially the River Danube and the Lake Balaton. They like the shallow water where hunt the smaller bait fish.I'm a lucky fisherman,I live at the bank of the River Danube.I check the water every day and I can use the correct colour and size of the wet flies from time to time.
At the first of season(May)I use bigger flies like an orange or white(not silver) bodied March Brown. The water is cold because of melted snow and the asps lay the bottom of rivers. When I arrive the middle of season I need use the smaller(size 10-12) wet flies. The average weight of the asp between 2-6 lbs but they take badly the bigger flies in this time. The end of season (middle of Oct.) I need knot a nice Spuddler on the end of the leader.
I use a six weight, nine foot Sharpe's Of Aberdeen rod with a Princess reel.I have three different lines. When I go fishing smaller river,I use a simple floating line.On the River Danube I use an ultra fast sinking line at the first and end of the season and I fish an intermediate line during the summer time.
And the most important, the flies.I prefer the classic wet flies like Coachman,March Brown or White Moth.I "designed" some specially flies for asp, too. They were named Aspius Orange,Aspius White.I have caught asps with Bergman's Undertaker(one of my best asp was caught with it),too. The size of flies are between 6-12.
I would load pictures the fish and flies but I don't know the method of it here.
If you have any question I'll answer it.
